Sax By Dennison
The playbook ran on my own music business first: a working musician's bookings, follow-up, and content, handled while I'm on stage.
What the business needed
This one is first party, and that is the point. A performing musician's business happens while the musician is unavailable: inquiries arrive mid-gig, quotes need to go out same day, follow-up dies on the drive home. I needed my own business to run without me answering the phone.
What was built
- A booking engine that answers inquiries, quotes, and holds dates while I'm performing.
- Follow-up automation that works the calendar so no conversation goes cold.
- A content system that keeps the brand publishing from material each performance already produces.
- The public site at dennisonblackett.com, which is the storefront the whole system feeds.
What changed
Response time stopped depending on whether I was on stage. The business runs the same playbook now sold to clients, which is exactly why it is in this list: it was the proof before it was the pitch.
